While many COVID restrictions have fallen by the wayside in recent months, many companies and universities are still enforcing vaccination requirements for new hires or students.
Despite clear, substantial evidence that the vaccines are not preventing the spread of the virus, administrators have steadfastly refused to change the course of the mandates.
Whether out of a desire not to admit they were wrong or out of a conscious disregard for reality, these harmful policies have continued to affect millions of people.
now one new form study Incorporating a systematic review and secondary data analysis conducted by Italian researchers, an attempt was made to academically measure the effectiveness of the vaccines against Omicron.
While many have recognized that the two-dose vaccine series no longer protects against symptomatic infection, Dr. fauci claimed that booster were 75% effective in preventing Omicron-induced symptoms.
The researcher’s findings do not bode well for the nation’s top public health “expert” and those who call on him to justify their indefinite mandates.
In direct contradiction to Fauci and other “experts,” the study results suggest vaccine efficacy of less than 20% against infection and less than 25% against symptomatic disease after just a few months:
“We found a significant immune escape associated with Omicron infection and symptomatic disease after both two and three dose administrations. The half-life of protection from symptomatic infection by two doses has been estimated to be 178 to 456 days for Delta and 66 to 73 days for Omicron. Booster doses have been found to restore VE to levels comparable to those achieved shortly after administration of the second dose; However, 9 months after the booster administration, a rapid decline in VE of the Omicron booster dose was observed, with less than 20% VE against infections and less than 25% VE against symptomatic diseases.”
It is important to note that the FDA Threshold for approval The COVID vaccines were 50% effective in preventing the disease.
Not only is the initial two-dose streak failing to maintain that standard, the booster dose, which Fauci said should “keep people sane,” quickly fades to half that percentage against symptomatic illness.
It is noteworthy that their review of evidence excluded studies that measured antibody levels to calculate efficacy, considering the FDA approved the vaccines for young children based on antibody production:
“Regulators allowed vaccine makers to infer efficacy by showing that the vaccines could induce levels of antibodies similar to those protecting teenagers and young adults, a concept known as immune bridging. That helped speed up the processes.”
Instead of the FDA desperately hoping that antibody levels would result in high efficacy rates, this study shows the exact opposite.
Given this, it is impossible to reasonably defend refresher mandates for healthy college students or for staff based on “protecting the health and well-being of others.”
There is little to no protection from contamination with the dominant variants, which negates any claim of mandate necessity.
Somehow, however, it seems doubtful that any of the supposed “experts” or their media associates will reconsider previous statements in the light of new research showing their estimates were hopelessly wrong.
