New properties

  • playing style – A new arcade mode is here: Custom Game! Just like an actual one arcade Machine: Customize your gaming experience with DIP switches: free play, old-school super attacks, faster enemies, no more taunts, and much more! You can see the customization in custom game lobbies. Progression and unlocking of achievements is disabled in custom games.
  • On-line – In the character selection menu, the host can now set a maximum number of players for the lobby.
  • graphic – Added awesome filters: CRT (normal or curved) and VCR! Check them in the Options menu.


  • playing style
    • Fixed rare crash in arcade mode when changing difficulty.
    • Cars can no longer deal massive damage when the player is considered armored (e.g. when charging a heavy swing).
    • Fixed bosses sometimes being unable to reach a player positioned at the very top or bottom of the stage.
    • Fixed bosses sometimes freezing after being hit by Raphael’s Super Flying Attack.
    • Fixed player score not being maintained when switching characters after a continue.
    • Fixed April’s Super Flying Attack sometimes reviving seemingly KO’d enemies.
    • Fixed reviving a KO player near transition point (e.g. escalators in Crystal Palace Mall) sometimes preventing progress.
    • Fixed updating the timer for special statuses (e.g.: Infinite Ninja Power) on KO or in a cutscene.
  • On-line
    • Guest players can now join the same hosted game.
  • Entry
    • Fixed inputs not being evaluated correctly when choosing between backflip or roundoff when flipping.
  • menus
    • Fixed a rare softlock that would occur on the world map if the user completed level 8 after completing level 10.


  • playing style
    • Taunt now only fills the first ninja power bar.
    • We no longer clear fully accumulated Ninja Power bars when KO’d on Chill difficulty.
    • Rolling now grants the player invulnerability.
    • Added more feedback in the HUD when attempting to use a super attack without enough ninja power.
    • Many small animation changes have been made to all bosses, often to make attacks more readable.
    • Fixed Dirtbag’s dig hole collision detection being too wide and deep.
    • Reduced the number of enemies spawning in Zorax’s Stampede and the frequency of stampedes. Zorax also has slightly reduced health when facing multiple players.
    • Rat King now makes Pied Piper rarer.
    • The Super Shredder fight has been improved in many small ways for a smoother pace and adjusted some damage values. His grapple is now used more often and is more efficient. Boom guy!
    • Improved the speed of the Statue of Tyranny and adjusted some damage values.
    • Mother Mouser has a new bite animation to differentiate charged bite from idle bite and give players time to react.
    • Mouser Model 3 and Mother Mouser now act slightly faster.
    • Radical mode damage multiplier is now applied to all throws, super dashes, and charged heavy hits.
    • Fixed players sometimes repeatedly falling off the screen at certain locations when respawning.
  • On-line
    • Added a refresh button to the lobby search list.
    • We’ve improved the way Arcade Score is calculated: we now track each player individually, even if they leave the game.
  • localization
    • Corrected or improved some strings in Spanish, French and German.
  • menus
    • The game remembers if How To Play has been previously watched separately in Story and Arcade modes as they are different.
    • Improved the prompt to reset your story and character progression.
    • The pause menu in arcade mode now shows the total game time.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge is now available for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switchand personal computer over steam.
