Rumored NVIDIA RTX 4090 Ti specs emerge
A brief update of the RTX 4090 Ti specs shared by Kopite7kimi himself.
It looks like we’re getting closer to NVIDIA to provide an even faster RTX 40 graphics card. Just 2 days ago, a new leak confirmed that NVIDIA was working on one 800W TITAN GPU, possibly equipped with 48 GB of storage. Today we learn that TITAN and RTX 4090 Ti should actually be two different models.
According to Kopite, the RTX 4090 Ti would have a stripped down AD102 GPU with 18176 cores (1792 more cores than RTX 4090), memory upgraded to 24Gbps modules and TBP of 600W. The last part is not entirely clear if this refers to TDP, TGP or just maximum board performance. In any case, it may simply be a higher default board power (450W+), while the maximum configurable power limit is the same as the RTX 4090 Ti (600W). That’s the limit of a 16-stream port.

The faster memory chips suggest that the card would have a maximum bandwidth of 1152 GB/s, which is 144 GB/s faster than any RTX 4090 currently on the market. It should also be noted that Kopite took the card number from PG136 and PG139 confirmed. These are NVIDIA Reference and Founders Edition card numbers. In other words, the RTX 4090 Ti would have the same board as the RTX 4090.
It’s no secret that NVIDIA has been planning this card for a long time. One of the first things to leak ahead of the RTX 40’s launch was this piece of metal from the new cooler design that was later used on the non-Ti model RTX 4090 instead.
Kopite does not confirm when such a map will be released. In fact, there doesn’t seem to be any reason at all to launch a new Ti flagship model right now. On the other hand, NVIDIA is now likely to have a GTC keynote in March, which would have been a good place to announce a new TITAN.
